I wrote this piece as satire, but wanted it to appear as a real report. I guess the DOWNTOWN Gods were afraid of getting sued or something, so they wrote in big letters:

Still they did give an intro on the front page:
Mark Rentzer once told me that I named Scumrock. It was an aw-shucks, yeah-right moment. Then I found this and think he might have been right.

This one they changed the title and added pictures (some of them mine) to appeal to their audience. I understand. It is a "men's" magazine, after all. I hope some people were disillusioned just the same.
